My name is Élisson Kario. I am an entrepreneur, researcher, and currently a 6th-semester Nutrition student at UGV – Centro Universitário, in União da Vitória.
For over 17 years, I built my career in web software engineering, creating technological solutions for companies. However, after turning 30, I faced a severe physical and cognitive decline: constant fatigue, brain fog, and a drastic drop in my capacity for reasoning and learning.
As a natural researcher and a skeptic of pre-packaged narratives, I decided to thoroughly investigate what was happening. I dove deep into human physiology, metabolism, and the impact of lifestyle. By applying these discoveries practically in early 2023, I reversed the condition. Today, my physical and mental performance is far superior to what it was in my 20s.
This empirical result was the trigger to formally study Nutrition. I created this space to document my independent research, question dogma, and share knowledge grounded in reality and the constant pursuit of truth.
Currently, I unite my two fields of expertise in my undergraduate thesis (TCC): I am developing and testing an Artificial Intelligence-assisted system with integrated automation to measure, in practice, its real impact and benefits in clinical nutrition care.
Discover the science behind abdominal fat: understand the dangers of visceral fat and explore the gold-standard protocol based on fasting, fractionated protein,
A clinical trial in Cell Metabolism shows that the ketogenic diet reduces liver fat by 67% and reverses prediabetes, outperforming Mediterranean and low-fat diets with the same weight loss.
The DELISH clinical trial (2026) shows that an adapted Mediterranean diet generates modest weight loss but significantly improves diet quality by increasing healthy fat intake.
Discover how the gut microbiome goes beyond metabolites, directly influencing mitochondrial resilience, redox balance, and cellular response to metabolic stress.
Discover how chrononutrition and intermittent fasting synchronize biological clocks in the liver, pancreas, and muscles, preventing insulin resistance.
Beta-hydroxybutyrate (BHB) goes beyond energy: it inhibits HDACs, modulates DNA, and activates antioxidant defenses like FOXO3a, revealing the epigenetic power of ketosis in cellular longevity.
